So Hank and I are sitting still...I think, for now. And I already have itchy feet. My friend Jay reminded me that whenever I get to this point I always get antsy, agitated and generally bitchy. However, Hank and I are now living in a barn in Newman Lake, Washington until December 10. We are house sitting a renovated barn - I just love telling people I am homeless but now living in a barn! The looks on their faces are quite interesting. I will upload pictures, but it is just beautiful and I woke up this morning so grateful for the experience and for all of the wonderful people in my life. Remind me when it keeps getting dark early and colder and colder that I said I was grateful!

To get here was quite the drive. 1750 miles in 3 days but we had an adventure along the way. Soem of the highlights - Charlies Spic and Span in Las Vegas, New MExico. Certain things in life are worth the calories and the deep fried taquitos and homemade tortillas are certainly in that category. It ws a nice respite from the road! On that same drive, I made it all the way to Ft. Collins and had dinner at the local dive. I overheard the best proposal ever! "Honey, do you know how to makes sausage gravy? Yes. Will you marry me????" Dead serious proposal - she said yes. Also in Ft.Collins I saw a homeless woman living in her car with 5 fluffy puppies - still disturbed about that one. We left Ft. Collins and went to Dubois, Wyoming. My good friend Cowboy Billy owns a ranch here and he is an Iditarod Racer so owns over 100 sled dogs. Hank was in heaven 50 girls to chase around - I could barely get him out of there on Sunday. And then 13 hours later, and 5 hours of driving in the snow, we made it to the barn...

Until next time....
